What happens on a discovery call?

A discovery call is a complimentary, no-obligation 30-minute conversation with a senior member of the Luminary team. We will listen to your goals and challenges, tell you about our services, and help you understand whether coaching with us would be a good fit for your needs. There is no sales pressure β we only work with people where we believe we can make a genuine difference.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

Most of our coaching engagements run for six to twelve months, with sessions typically taking place fortnightly. This timeframe allows for meaningful change to occur and for new behaviours to become embedded. That said, we tailor every programme to the individual's goals and context β some clients work with us for a focused 3-month sprint, others for several years.
Can coaching take place virtually?

Absolutely. We offer fully virtual, in-person, and hybrid coaching engagements. Many of our clients prefer the flexibility of virtual coaching and find it equally effective. We use a secure, purpose-built virtual coaching platform that provides a private, distraction-free environment for your sessions.
How do you match clients with coaches?

Coach matching is one of the things we take most seriously. Following your discovery call, we will recommend two or three coaches whose expertise, background, and approach are most aligned with your goals. We then facilitate brief chemistry calls with each coach so you can choose the person you feel most comfortable and confident working with. The relationship is everything.
Is executive coaching confidential?

Absolute confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. All coaching conversations are completely private and governed by the ICF Code of Ethics. Nothing discussed in coaching sessions is shared with employers or third parties without your explicit written consent.

Yes. We work with organisations of all sizes, from ambitious start-ups to global corporations.
